One of those is Sylvia Martinez, president of GenYES, who writes the GenYES Blog. Two recent posts by Sylvia provide information of considerable worth to educators.

Educators are forever searching for meaningful, high quality resources that extends learning. Often times they will search sites like YouTube for videos to easily share with students and colleagues related to learning outcomes. However, many schools and districts are filtering or blocking YouTube because of accessibility to inappropriate content. The cost is the loss of content that has high educational value.
