Topics of the Year (TOYs)
Communities of practice, much like our ITS Community, have a focus. Our TOYs, Topics of the Year, will help guide our work, meetings, casual conversations around learning and the sharing of resources throughout the year. The best part? You, the community, choose the TOYs! We will generate a list of TOYs for this year and select a few to address in the coming months.
Hands-On
We don't often have time to learn with our peers here's a chance to explore emerging technology as well as revisit some "old" technology and how it is being used for teaching and learning.
Google Tools
If collaboration is the name of the game, Google is the playing field. We'll provide a brief overview of the tools that are taking the Web by storm. To take full advantage of this part of our meeting go ahead and get yourself a handy Google Account before November 7th.
-
Care-to-Share - Bill Arcuri – Uses of Google Docs & Blogger

Already using Google in your school or district? Would you like to share a use? Speak up.
