The Brighton, Fairport, Honeoye Falls-Lima, Penfield, Victor Central School Districts, Nazareth College, and Monroe #1 BOCES have collaborated to put together Teaching, Learning & Technology, a three day immersive learning experience for educators.
Reaching Beyond the Classroom thru Technology
Join your colleagues from around the Greater Rochester and Upstate NY regions to explore and learn about technology and how it creates a reach for students and teachers beyond the classroom.
This conference supports educators by:
- building information literacy skills
- creating bridges to learning through technology
- connecting learning beyond the classroom
- helping students become skillful producers and consumers of quality digital information
By attending a series of workshops over this three day conference, P-16 educators can enhance their instructional methods with technology tools that connect students and experts from around the globe. Facilitators at this event are technology experts, educators and Nazareth School of Education faculty and graduate students.

Fees:
3-Day Conference = $125 (before July 2010), $150 (after July 2010)
2-Day Conference = $95 (before July 2010), $110 (after July 2010)
Presenter Rate = $95 (presenters receive a stipend as well, the RFP will be opening soon)
Student Rate = $75
While computers will be provided, participants are highly encouraged to bring personal laptops. In addition, many sessions will provide hands-on or work time, please consider bringing ideas or content you wish to work with during any such session.
