How do you use Instructional Multimedia in your classroom or school building?  Do you tie the media to instruction, or is the media used as an after thought in which yes, it will fill time as well as bring a little instruction or reinforcement to a topic or subject?

As many of you know, M1B has a new Video On Demand service.  More can be learned through the Media Portal .  Please take a few moments to learn about this new, engaging service that offers rich digital content, much that is aligned to New York State Standards.

At the beginning of each school year teachers around the US (and I'm sure the rest of the world), ask students to create some type of assignment on the topic of "What I did durning summer vacation".  How can we, as educators, be more creative and use 21st Century Skills?

One of the things that I think is great about our area are the local resources that directly relate to my position. Not only do we have excellent teacher colleges in our area, but we also have a top technical University. The combination of these two things makes the possible connections between technology and education a real possibility.
